Riverside Preschool is a ministry of Riverside Church. Riverside preschool is here to love each child and family with God’s love everyday. We use a Christian based curriculum called The Pinnacle. We teach biblical and academic truths through play in learning centers and small learning groups. Each week the children focus on a learning theme and focus play in several learning groups including:
Bible time including learning through stories, games, and creative projects
Home living/Dramatic Play
Blocks and Transportation
Science and Nature
Art/Creative
Manipulative and puzzles
Writing and Listening
Books
Group time
Outside Play
Our summer curriculum includes a fun biblical learning curriculum. The two-four year olds go on a minimum of two field trips in the summer and we also have lots of in-house field trips and two water days a week in the summer. Riverside Preschool is open year round and accepts children ages eight weeks- to young 4’s. For the 2010-11 school year your child must be four by January 1, 2006. We are open Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. If you would like more information or if you would like to schedule a tour of our facility please call (504) 737-2373.
